For those of you who know me, I have this competitive nature. This was my 3rd season of golf and I am a full-blown golf junkie! I mean who dreams of golf right….the perfect long, straight drive off the tee box – the perfect up and down – even better – holing it with a 15 yard chip in Maui or that near hole-in-one in New Orleans by hitting the flag and getting closest to the pin. Yep, that’s been my last year! I wouldn’t change it. Since April I’ve met some great friends in my Tuesday night league and played about 70 rounds of golf. There is some local golf, including the charity events I attended. But, I cannot forget my home away from home, Ballyhack Golf Club. For those of you who may never experience golf nirvana, Ballyhack Golf Club in Roanoke, VA is truly the consummate golf experience. You feel as if you own the course and then the course will bite you in the you-know-what. An even better experience is playing the course then hearing the architect, Lester George, a golf design genius.
You will also see my current playing in Maui — that was a beautiful couple of round as well. Imagine heading out at 7:00 a.m. and playing around all by yourself – no one in front of you and no one pushing you — a true practice round – dropping two balls and being able to practice – should I use a 9 iron or pitching wedge heck let’s try each and see!
See you on the back 9 !

You? competitive? LOL. Great pics. Love the outfit in the second to last one.
This is great Deanna…..and so you!! I love the beef stew recipe. Yummy!! See you soon and can’t wait to hit the course with you….let’s start the countdown – 3 months until golf season in MI!!
I am counting down the days myself! Although my swing is probably terrible. We are heading to Mexico this Friday for plenty of golf. I’ll keep you posted.
