I remember during culinary school and various restaurants and kale was a garnish. In fact, you put an orange slice on it to dress it up. But, oh my, kale chips are “tee”rrific! They are also quite easy to make. I never would have thought that my son would find kale chips to be so tasty, but check out the video – it’s proof.
Ingredients
- 1 head of kale, chopped into 3″ wide pieces, stems removed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix kale with olive oil and lay flat on aluminum pan and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake until kale is crispy but not burnt about 10 minutes.
