Is it too early to be thinking about golf or even practicing for the golf season when you live in Michigan, it’s 20 degrees and there is snow on the ground?!?  NEVER!  My opinion you can’t get out there and play for about 6 months and expect to be the best golfer that you can be.  You have to put time in on the off season.   As of yesterday, I started my off-season efforts.  Playing golf in Mexico reminded me that taking those few months off did nothing for my impromptu travel golf game.

Yesterday I had a lesson with my golf coach, Bob Krause, Pure Impact Golf.  Unfortunately, the first in several months.  We did some adjustments to my set up and what a difference it made.  Next step will be getting the swing back in check with next Wednesday’s lesson.

Last night I went to Carl’s and hit a large bucket of balls…..genius or insanity?  It was cold but the heaters were on and once you warmed up it wasn’t so bad.  After hitting over 100 balls though it reminds me it’s time to get in shape!

I’ll keep you posted!  Next stop travel golf in Richmond, Virginia next week then the Florida Natural Charity Pro-Am in March.

Gosh, I love this game!
